I have always been passionate about fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. I have worked out most of my adult life (which has been a little over ten years). I had not been receiving the results I wanted, despite my devotion in the gym, so I had contemplated working with a trainer for a long time. After asking for recommendations from acquaintances, Zack’s name kept coming up, and I heard great things about him. Although, I was apprehensive (more or less scared) to committing to any type of program that would push me out of my comfort zone, I went ahead and took the chance.
Zack performed a thorough assessment of where I was physically, and took the time to go over what my goals were and really listened to what I wanted to accomplish. He had a way of making me feel very comfortable, while coming off very knowledgeable and I instantly trusted that he would be able to get me to where I wanted to be. I have been working with Zack for about three months now, and could not be happier with my choice to hire him as a trainer. He has taught me so much, and pushed me to workout harder than I ever have. The results I have seen in three months are remarkable, and none that I could achieve in all the years I had worked out on my own. Although, I have pushed myself physically and done things in the gym I never imagined myself doing, there isn’t a minute that has gone by that I have not enjoyed working with him.
Zack takes the time to tailor each of his clients’ programs to fit them, and gets a great understanding of what his clients are capable of doing, and what it will take to get them to their goals. Most importantly, he is down-to-earth, knowledgeable, inspiring, and easy to work with. Zack’s program is like nothing I have heard or seen before, and gets results, QUICKLY! I highly recommend Zack to anyone that is looking to get in better shape and/or become stronger overall.

I started strength training with Zack Byler in May of 2012 and I can confidently say he has since inspired me to live a strong healthy lifestyle. Zack put me through a thorough assessment to see where I was at physically; talked me through what I wanted to accomplish and how we could successfully do it together. Following my assessment, he designed a month long program that tracked my progress from week to week. Zack’s program has helped strengthen my muscles and my previously weak joints. He taught me new ways to strengthen my body and lose unwanted body fat.
My original goal was to strengthen my back/knees and get my body into the physical shape required to make it as a professional cheerleader. Currently my joints are no longer causing me problems and I am proud to say I am an NFL Cheerleader Ambassador for the Washington Redskins.
Unfortunately since I relocated Zack is no longer my trainer but I learned so much from working one-on-one with him that I was confident enough to keep training on my own. I used his programs as guidance (and bombarded him with questions) to confidently step in the gym on my own and continue getting stronger. I have just completed my first fitness show and won first place in the novice figure division of The 33rd N.G.A. Annapolis Bodybuilding, Figure & Bikini Championships.
Zack worked closely with me to help accomplish my short term goals and has since inspired me to change my lifestyle completely for the better. Whether you’re a person looking to gain more confidence in your looks or an athlete looking to improve performance I cannot recommend Zack Byler enough… he’s the BEST.

Going into Coach Byler’s training I was excited because when I lifted with him before he graduated and came back from Cressey Performance, he seemed to have a good grasp of lifting and proper technique. When I came back from school after having a good freshman year I got in touch with Zack; I wanted to train with him again. He explained to me the reasons for the different exercises and techniques we would be focusing on. Just talking to him about how the body works was amazing. When we began lifting he was throwing new exercises at me that I haven’t seen anywhere. Also he made the workout sport specific to help me with the demands of playing baseball. At the beginning of the training I weighted 168lbs and in three and half short months I gained 12lbs of solid muscle. I can run faster and jump higher than ever before. Zack’s training knowledge succeeds anyone else’s around the area. You will not regret training with him and becoming a part of BEST!
